Wonderful Decision It took me a year and a half to decide on getting an E-bike. A customer of mine has an Aventure.2 and gave me the opportunity to look it over and try it. Afterwards my decision was final and I pulled the trigger of buying one.I have had 3 back surgeries on top of being diabetic so getting out for exercise has been very hard for me until now. Riding this bike I have more energy everyday and feel better about myself after a ride(could just be the endorphens lol) .I have been very pleased with my Aventon Aventure.2. I have owned mine for about 6 weeks now and have put 250 miles on the bike. It works great for both commuting (which I do daily) and offroad. I did have a couple of problems with the bike being the brakes making a gurgling sound when ever I used the rear brakes but was able to solve that with bleeding the brakes and topping off the fluid. Another problem I had was a flat tire from some sort of very small sharp piece of plastic between the tube and tire in the rear tire (not an easy fix). All in all I would highly suggest this bike and other aventon products. Get the spare battery! you can take longer trips. and as far as the extra battery goes it does not come with a cover so when you get the spare battery order a cover for it as well. Pros! Very easy to assemble! (approx. 1 hr) there is a video you can follow. Long battery life! (if you are using eco pedal assist) Comes with fenders! Keep that mud and water off your back. Has a back rack! Easy to install accessories. (Could use an accessory bar) Cons! Brake rotors resonate at certain speeds making a loud noise. Seat is very uncomfortable. (Buy the suspension seat post makes a world of difference). The rear bike rack could be a little wider, putting a bag on the bag took some effort due to the straps being way to long resulting in it being loose. The front headlight could be a little brighter. Some pedal strikes when riding offroad trails. The app could use a little work. Everything between the bike and phone work great but the syncing to the achievements on the website doesn't seem to work. All in all I would Highly suggest this bike its very fun and practical! Thank You Aventon!

Good for hunters I bought this bike to hunt. To get me from truck to stand QUIETLY. I have 4-wheelers that can do the same thing but deer will pattern you, in my opinion. This thing does the job!!! And then some. It is also fun to just ride. I have a hard time getting my wife off of it so that I can use it. I was on the fence whether it would be worth it or not for a full year. IT IS WORTH IT! Absolutely 0 buyers remorse. It also pulls a cart well, to get food in and deer out.

Better than expected in all regards I ordered two Adventure.2 ebikes for 0ur residence in the mountains of Colorado. There are numerous trails and gravel roads to explore in the hills around our home. The bikes arrived timely and were well packed. The assembly required was minimal and very easy to accomplish, especially since all the necessary tools and guidance was provided with the bikes. The quality of the bikes and accessories is very good. After assembly we took our maiden ride and the bikes are amazing. Easy to go anywhere on these bikes yet you can get a very good workout. It was incredibly fun to take any road or trail regardless of steepness and terrain. Gearing, assist levels, lighting, braking all were excellent. We rode several miles with minimal battery usage. Highly recommend these bikes!

This Aventure.2 Rocks ! My first press down on that peddle was like,000OOOooo - well this IS diffrent :) I was like Mary Poppins at 20Mph peddling away about 2 miles away from home, so what if iam 300lbs. .. This motor to peddle ratio thing is NICceee. I have been wanting to get around but the basic no pressure peddling and going places is the bomb , I can not express my liking of this bicycle enough, waiting for the extra battery to get here and then I'll be riding around - actually looking forward to purchasing new tires so I can save these off road Fat Tires and get some road time in on a pair of those Fat Tires for the HWY :)

Most fun on a bicycle since I was 10 years old! And that was over 55 years ago! The Aventure.2 is an amazing machine in my opinion. I've been through wooded trails I'd never imagine being able to go down with a bike like this. I love it when I simply push the pedals and the assist mode helps move the 70+ pound bike with me on it and I still get a great workout in the lowest assist setting. With over 210 miles on it, I've come to love riding it day and night. The brakes work quite well even though one might think they're a bit mushy at first. When coming down steep dirt/gravel grades I'm able to maintain complete control without skidding and losing control. I still need to get used to the pedals being close to the ground when on trails with lots of rocks, will likely need a pair to replace the abuse happening there. I have the large step-over model as I'm tall and still ride a motorcycle so flopping my leg over to get on the bike is no big deal. In terms of comfort, the original seat was too hard for me so I wound up getting a Cloud-9 Cruiser Select which made the ride at least 200% better. Then my suspension post showed up and now the ride is incredibly smooth even on the roughest trails. My butt is thanking me every time I hit the trails. Overall I don't think I could've gotten a better ebike. It's in the shop for a tune-up so anxiously waiting to get back to riding many miles again every day.

400 Miles In and Loving It After a summer of 400+ miles on my Aventure, I am totally happy! Bike, tires, and battery still look and feel like new. The Aventure handles like a dream: fast, stable and sturdy while remarkably nimble and FUN as it swoops around turns. If I had to find a complaint, it'd be the few clangs and rattles somewhere on the rear fender that I can't seem to tighten away, and the acceleration is a bit noisy. Also there's a bit of a rub on the front brake pad that needs realigning. Only terrain I had trouble on was sand, but the Aventure performs surprisingly well for such a heavy bike on city streets and off-road trails. Loving it!

Aventon aventure 2 I really am enjoying my bike! I like the eco setting for my rides so I get some exercise in. We purchased for camping but I have been using it around town. It is fun and has a smooth ride.

Great Bike I was shopping around and landed in this bike. I’m glad I did. It is an amazing bike. So sturdy and not cheaply made! I will be riding this bike for menu years to come!

Adventure continues with my Aventure! My Aventure hits 2600 miles after 1 year! Everything works good with no issues! Except for the charger that died after 1 year, but Aventon refunded the new charger that I bought after confirming a charger issue. So happy with my Aventure with no regrets so far.

Such a beautiful and functional bike. I absolutely love this bike. It’s beautiful and is such a blast to ride. Had it for 4 days now and have put over 30 miles on it. My legs are pretty spent so I need to take a step back and build up slowly. I live in a really hilly area and weigh 230. All the assist levels have a noticeable difference and allow me to get the workout im needing. I would suggest taking your time to assemble or have a bike shop do it. I am very mechanically inclined but still having a slight problem with the rear brake but am in contact with Aventon and im sure this will be rectified shortly. If you are thinking about if this bike is worth it or not, not waist your time, get it! For the money spent the miles of smiles will be totally worth it.

Best purchase ever! I love this bike so much! It was super easy to set up and it rides incredibly well. Love how it cruises right up hills. The step through was perfect for me since I’m pretty short ( female 5’2” ) It makes getting on and off the bike super simple. The headlight on the bike is surprisingly powerful. I was really impressed with it. Excellent bike and im glad I went with it!

Game Changer Christmas Gift Bought this as a Christmas gift to myself in 2022. The idea was to have it with us in campgrounds when traveling. It's maiden voyage was to the Gulf Shores for about 3 months where over 500 miles was ridden while camping. I ride it daily even when not in a campground just for exercise or to run errands like groceries, car parts or just a run to get ice cream. We have also featured it on our Wheel Epic Adventures channel. The rear tire had to be replaced and unfortunately, it wasn't available on Aventon. Ended up replacing the tube as well after several patch attempts. This bike has 2398 miles on it, as of 9/26/2023.

Great bike, great service! I ordered my bike and had it shipped to the wrong address. Bertha at Aventon was able to turn around that shipment and send it back to the factory. She then arranged shipping on a new bike to the correct address. Wonderful customer service! Once I received the bike, I followed instructions on YouTube for putting it together. Pretty simple, really, but I did end up with extra parts and pieces that were not accounted for in the video. I think I got it right as I headed out for my first ride and everything went perfectly! My only small complaint would be the seat post bracket. I can not get it tight enough to keep the seat from moving around or pulling up off the post. Maybe that’s the way it is intended.

Love my aventure Had my adventure 1 for a month now . Best think I've bought in years. At 64 and a busted up body from years of off road stuff I needed something to get me back outside again. And this bike was it. I can ride at my level of choice, sit back and let the bike do most of the work, or set it so im doing the work... so far I recommend a e-bike to anyone. Young, old, in shape or not. Just getting out in fresh air and seeing the world.

It’s a good fun bike. The torque drive is very nice and you hardly feel it working. Best way to describe the feeling is as if you always have a stiff wind at your back. As a recovering knee replacement guy, feels good to get the exercise without the pressure of having to pedal hard all the time. All that said, it’s a tank. It is big and it is heavy. It’s more HW beach cruiser than MTB. Those 75 pounds dropping out of the sky over a jump is a hard hit. Great on road and gravel. Also an excellent beach bike. Wish wide beach cruiser bars and set up was available. I may get a 2nd for my wife. This is good around town and occasional off road (dirt road) excursion. I wouldn’t be single tracking this down a mountain. BTW, brakes are soft and spongy.

Disappointed I waited to leave this review until I had some miles in to get a bit over the 'new car smell'. The bike overall is nice and has done reasonably well. Let me say that I do not use 5 stars in my ratings unless products are so much better that they stand out. And this is not the case with the Aventure 2. It was delivered to my home since I live about 3 miles from the closest city and dealer. I put the bike together without much effort, but then again, I have experience with bicycle mechanics. The bike is OK for the price point. Here are some things to notice: - Make sure to lube the chain as part of the initial assembly. It is not mentioned in the Aventon videos and that blew my mind. - Aventon says that to charge and at the end of charging you should plug the charger to the bike first and then to the wall. Kinda wonky. I do not know the logic behind this. Why? - They way the standard rack attached to the seat stays keeps you from easily attaching some of the bags such as Ortliebs since the thickness of the stay interferes with the attachment mechanism of some bags. - Kinda wonky too is that you have to both turn on the battery and then the head unit. Why not all of it in one stop? But here is my biggest beef. Battery performance. This feels so much like false advertising. The bike info page says 60 MILES. Yet, the manual itself says 40 miles is BEST CASE Scenario, and on average, 30 miles. WOW what happened here? Today I experienced this big time. Left the house with 49% battery. 12 miles later, barely having used throttle and switching pedal assist up and down as needed, I found myself with 9% battery left. The last three and a half miles were bad. Pedal assist barely kicked in. There were some mild hills that became a struggle with minimal pedal assist. It was barely noticeable. Big message: If you expect to do any kind of 'adventuring' on the Aventure 2 look elsewhere, cause, at least for me, 20 miles is just the beginning. So Buyer Beware.

Damaged parts and no customer service Right out of the box the rear rack, the rear fender and the seat were damaged. The rear rack appears to have been crudely attached and it caused the rear fender to dent inwards which caused the rear wheel not to move. I had to remove it so the bike could even move. It was hard to remove because the damage. The bike seat had a cut on it.

Excellent fun for me and my son and great customer service
This was my first e bike and fat tire and I am so happy with it, once I got it road worthy. It was damaged in delivery and the Aventon customer service sent out new parts the next day.
I’ve rode it back and forth to work numerous times. The headlight and brake lights work great. I took it on a trail and it performed great. My friend didn’t have a e bike so I turned off the motor for him. With out using the motor it still shifted great and had some fun.
It’s a great bike,
