FAQ'S
Carbon fiber bikes deliver the ultimate balance of lightweight performance and strength. Compared to traditional alloy frames, carbon fiber offers superior vibration damping, providing a smoother and more comfortable ride over long distances. Because the material can be shaped with precision, carbon frames are engineered to be aerodynamic, efficient, and responsive yet stiff in the areas where you need power and flexible where you need comfort.
With the CF Racer1, you get one of the lightest e-bikes on the market, designed for riders who want speed, agility, and an uncompromised ride quality.
Yes, we have ambassadors around the US who offer test rides on our bikes. Learn more here Locations
As a direct-to-consumer company, we’re able to position the CF Racer1 at unmatched retail costs. Our bikes have been thoroughly tested by top reviewers: Electric Bike Review, Electric Bike Report, Cycling Weekly, Clean Technica, Electrek, and hundreds of independent creators who have published their reviews on YouTube.
At Ride1Up, we’re committed to delivering premium electric bikes with performance and quality that far exceed their price point. The CF Racer1 is a lightweight 28 lb carbon fiber e-bike, built with high-end components including SRAM drivetrain, tubeless-ready tires, and a precision-engineered carbon frame.
All of our bikes ship directly from Salt Lake City, Utah, arriving 95% assembled for quick and easy setup. And when you need support, our in-house team of experienced mechanics and former bike shop owners who are based in San Diego is ready to help.
The CF Racer1 was engineered to be as lightweight as possible, featuring a compact 7Ah high-energy density battery pack that delivers efficient power without extra weight. For riders who want to go even farther, we offer Add-On battery packs that mount directly to the water bottle holder, giving you the flexibility of extended range without compromising the bike’s sleek design.
The CF Racer1 features a proprietary carbon fiber handlebar and stem system with fully integrated internal cable routing for a sleek, aerodynamic look. Riders who want to customize their setup can upgrade to FSA’s ACR stem and handlebar combinations, which maintain full internal cable routing while offering a wider range of fit and performance options.
We only ship within the US and Canada. The contiguous United States is FREE. Shipping to Canada is $400. Currently, not shipping to Hawaii. We are not responsible for any additional tariffs charged by your local government which are often applied after importing. Unfortunately, we are not able to ship our eBikes directly to Europe or Alaska at this time. You can use a shipping forwarder like ShopUsa.com to reach your country.
The bikes are not water-proof, they are water-resistant. While we do not recommend leaving the bikes out in the rain or riding in the rain or other hazardous conditions due to personal safety, the bikes can handle low pressure exposure to water. Do not submerge in water or expose to pressurized air or water. Storing your ebike in the elements could shorten the lifespan of the electric bike
The CF Racer1 gravel e-bike can easily be adapted into a road-focused setup. By swapping to a tubeless-compatible road tire between 32–36c, riders can achieve a smoother, faster ride on pavement. For even greater performance, additional upgrades such as the crankset and cassette can be made to fine-tune the CF Racer1 into a more road-oriented e-bike.
Tubeless tires run without inner tubes, using sealant to create an airtight setup. For gravel riding, this means fewer flats, the ability to ride at lower pressures for more comfort and traction, and a smoother, faster feel on rough terrain. Take a look at our tubeless guide for more information.
